In July 2002, the UK Government launched a further
stage in the deregulation of the UK telecommunications industry
by introducing a new phone service called Carrier Pre-Selection
(CPS). The deregulation meant that providers such as Ixus
Telecoms could supply the same services as BT without the
loss of service or having to change phone numbers. The
only difference is the price you pay for the calls.
Using our service allows you to make calls in
the same way you always have done. There is no need to install
any new equipment, or dial any prefix numbers. Your phone
bill is available online via our in-house developed control
panel, and you continue pay BT for your line rental.
You will be pleased to know that there are no
subscription charges, or minimum contracts, minimum call charges.
